MIR MAISONS CANADA

MIR Maisons Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian company bringing factory-built modular housing to the Canadian market. Our units are manufactured by our established production partner and designed for rapid, foundation-free installation.

We are at an early and deliberate stage in Canada. We are completing certification before we sell, and we say plainly what is ready and what is not.

CERTIFICATION STATUS

MIR Maisons Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian company. We are working with CSA Group towards CSA A277 certification of our manufacturing facility — the standard required for factory-built modular buildings in Canada.

Our units are not yet CSA A277 certified. They are not offered for sale or installation in Canada until that certification is complete. We will publish the certification here when it issues.

NORTHERN AND ARCTIC DEVELOPMENT

We are developing a cold-climate variant designed against the Government of Nunavut’s Good Building Practices Guideline — covering the thermal envelope, airtightness, heating, trucked water and sewage servicing, and the foundation requirements of northern communities.

This variant is in development. It is not yet available, not yet priced and not yet certified. We would welcome conversations with northern housing providers and partners about what it needs to do.
